A taste of GHOP

Posted by mattw on Jan 02 2008 | Developer

Something slightly less rubbery is the GHOP competition I mentioned a few weeks back. I thought I’d update everyone and put up some screenshots of the themes that our GHOP participants have created to date. These are all plone 3 themes, and in the collective to play with right now.

  1. Hi Matt,

I just wanted to say that you’ve totally saved Plone’s GHOP participation. Thank you so much!

    Roger,

I did put them in as alt text but they don’t seem to be showing.

    They’re, in order:

    plonetheme.andreas01
    plonetheme.essay
    plonetheme.blue_blog
    plonetheme.python

    Thanks.

I particularly like the essay theme because of its evenly spread out tabs. May I report an issue here? If so: after installing and uninstalling the essay theme in a freshly installed plone site, the personal actions bar is missing. I’m just a newbie (about to start reading ch. 8 in Aspeli’s book) so I can’t give much more help.

Thanks for the theme, I’ll use it for inspiration a lot, I hope!

  5. Yup, I’ll second what Martin said — thanks for stepping up and making the Plone GHOP participation a success!

These themes all look great, good job on managing the process.

As a note, alt attributes don’t show as tooltips in well-behaving browsers — use the title attribute for that. :)

  6. Bravo, Matt!

Do these themes have to be uploaded to PyPi so that they can easily be easy_installed and/or builtout?
