OpenQA, a new way of testing using Bromine

Yoav Farbey - September 17th, 2009

I have been working as a developer intern this summer at Team Rubber. This week I have been implementing a Bromine testing environment in OS X, with a view to using it as a new method for testing development sites here at Rubber Towers.

During the implementation I posted on the Bromine forums asking for assistance. Being an open source product means that although the documentation is a little lacking, there is always friendly advice available in the forums. My post can be read on the OpenQA Blog Forum.

To see how Bromine can be used after full implementation see this video (Screen cast) here. Fingers-crossed it will fulfil our needs for organising and running our Selenium test suites.
